Brenda S. Atchison is the Executive Vice President of Client Relations for the Alliance for Multispecialty Research, LLC with national headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee. She holds a bachelor's degree in clinical microbiology and chemistry from the University of Tennessee where she was a laboratory instructor prior to accepting a clinical microbiology position with the Tennessee State Department of Public Health and Environmental Services. She was a clinical scientist with supervisory responsibility over the cellular immunology division in a national cancer research center prior to joining Covance (formerly ICP, then Corning-Besselaar) as Sr. Global Director of Project Feasibility and Investigative Site Services from 1989-2000. In late 2000, she joined AMR as Executive Director to coordinate business development and facilitative services provided to AMR’s clients throughout the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and device industries.. She is often requested to speak on key industry-related issues and devotes a significant portion of her time holding group discussions with AMR’s many CRO and Pharmaceutical Sponsor clients to broaden an understanding of the critical communication needs involved in enhanced start-up and successful completion with maximum retention across today’s clinical trials.
